Job summary
Are you a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in complex estates plant? Join our Estates Engineering Team and play a pivotal role keeping our Trust's critical services running 24/7. You'll work on a shift rota with on-call duties, tackling Planned Preventative Maintenance, emergency breakdowns and installations across multiple sites.

Main duties of the job
What You'll Doo Operate on a shift system plus on-call, responding to breakdowns and job requests both day and nighto Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and in-depth fault-finding on generators, fire alarms, lighting and power, distribution boards, boilers, air-handling units, chiller plant, medical gas systems, calorifiers and hot & cold-water networkso Perform installations and refurbishments of building fabricationso Evaluate and respond effectively to emergency situations, prioritising safety for patients, staff and the publico Conduct and document your own risk assessments for medium and high-risk taskso Ensure strict compliance with Trust policies, statutory standards and health & safety legislation

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Relevant practical experience and either ONC Elec/Mech or HNC Elec/Mech or equivalent technical qualification
Knowledge & Experience Essential
Previous management experience Supporting information demonstrates knowledge of electrical/mechanical/building services legislation.
Desirable
Previous roles involved working with IT systems
