Job summary
We areso excitedto welcome aMedical HR Apprenticeinto our specialist Medical HR Team, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our Medical HR function.You'llprovide highquality administrative support,maintainaccurateemployee records, and help ensure compliance with Trust policies and employment legislation.
One ofyourmain responsibilities will be to completeyourapprenticeshipsuccessfully. This will include attending the college delivering the apprenticeship, completingassignmentsand working within your scope of competence, putting your learning into practice within the Medical HR team and attending all meetings with your college advisors andline manager.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with colleagues across the People Directorate, supporting medical staffing processes and responding to routine HR queries with professionalism and care.
You willberesponsible formaintainingaccurateemployee records acrossESRand other HR systems, processing payroll changes and leavers, and preparing key employment documentation such as contracts and variation letters. Their duties also include monitoring and updating HR spreadsheets, supporting internal audits, compliance checks, and datacleansing activities, and managing personnel files in line with retention policies.You willhandle shared inboxes, respond to routine HR queries, and ensure GDPR, confidentiality, and dataprotection standards are consistently upheld.
