NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY

Maternity Ward Clerk- Band 2

Provide administrative support to the maternity team, supporting care to woman and babies, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The maternity ward clerk will provide and coordinate clerical and administrative duties, supporting the provision of an efficient and effective service.

Main duties of the job

Maintain accurate written and electronic information systems, supporting accurate and timely data input onto IT systems. Participate in planning, implementation and delivery of the service.

Carry out coordination and support the delivery of maternity care by tracking and archiving of records, ordering and organising of stock, ensuring maintenance of equipment by arranging servicing/repair, supporting the team in busy periods as well as other general administrative duties. Support in Data quality reports process and action as required.

Qualifications Essential

GCSE (Grade A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent
