Read more: https://tgr-wrt.com / We are now looking for a Freight Specialist to strengthen our Travel and Logistics team in Jyväskylä, Finland. About the role As a Freight Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting international logistics operations by ensuring that import, export, customs, and transportation documentation is handled accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and other external partners to ensure smooth movement of goods across borders. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of logistics administration and customs-related processes, requiring strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic international environment. Your main responsibilities - Managing Intrastat reporting and related documentation - Handling and coordinating import and export customs documentation - Maintaining and archiving import and export records - Supporting purchasing activities related to import shipments and investigating missing import documentation - Processing and coordinating non-EU shipments - Supporting vehicle export processes, including export clearance documentation - Coordinating and managing ATA Carnet documentation - Preparing, reviewing, and validating commercial invoices - Providing support and guidance regarding Incoterms (e.g., FCA, DAP) - Requesting and comparing freight quotations - Monitoring and maintaining logistics-related records and data What we are looking for - Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, international trade, customs, or supply chain operations - Strong understanding of import/export documentation and customs procedures - Experience with Intrastat reporting - Familiarity with international transportation and freight processes - Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work - Fluency in English, both written and spoken - Fluency in Finnish is required due to cooperation with Finnish authorities and public institutions What we offer - An opportunity to work in an internationally renowned motorsport organization at the highest level of rally competition - Exciting and challenging projects in a fast-paced environment - Ain international workplace with a positive and supportive atmosphere - The opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals who are driven by performance, innovation, and continuous improvement The position is a fixed-term role for 12 months and is based in Jyväskylä, Finland.
