Job summary
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated SeniorHealth Care Support Workerto join our dedicated team onWard 14and theEarly Pregnancy Unit (EPU). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient and compassionate care across a dynamic and specialised environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personal care and support to patients across the ward and EPU. Prepare and maintain equipment and ensure the clinical area is well-stocked. Handle and record patient belongings with care and accuracy. Participate in ward-based audits and research activities when required. Uphold a personal duty of care in the use of equipment and supplies.

Knowledge Requirements Essential
Demonstrate good communication skills and understanding of basic requirements for individual patient care Recognise people's right to privacy and dignity, treating every person with respect

Qualifications Essential
NVQ 3 in care or equivalent or willingness to work towards Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement

Able to attend a 5-day Clinical Induction Committed to attending further training and development as identified
Experience Essential

Flexible approach Able to work flexibly on a varied shift pattern according to the roster including nights and weekends
