Job summary
West Norfolk Coastal PCN is looking to welcome a Tissue Viability Nurse Lead to their team on a full-time basis for a 2 years fixed term contract initially.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead, shape and develop a PCNwide wound care service, improving outcomes for patients with complex wounds and supporting primary care teams to deliver evidencebased care.
Working as an autonomous expert practitioner, you will manage highly complex cases, support PCN clinicians, lead service development, and represent the PCN at system level.
We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about improving wound care, developing others and leading change in primary care.
Main duties of the job
Lead and deliver specialist tissue viability and lower limb services. Provide advanced clinical support for complex and nonhealing wounds. Manage and develop the PCN tissue viability service. Supervise and support the Band 6 TVN and wider primary care workforce. Lead audit, quality improvement and service evaluation. Represent the PCN at ICB and systemwide tissue viability forums.

Experience Essential
Experience of providing clinical advice and support on wound care management and complex tissue viability issues Experience on leading quality improvement initiatives Knowledge, and experience of its application, in supporting long-term conditions Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the wider NHS
Qualifications Essential
A relevant nursing degree Current NMC registration with an active PIN
