Job summary
We are seeking a proactive People Services Advisor to join our People Directorate at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a key advisory role, providing high-quality, timely HR advice and support to managers and staff across the Trust. You will act as a first point of contact for people management queries, with a particular focus on all matter of employee relations casework, including sickness absence management, conduct, capability and dignity at work.
This role is critical in supporting leaders to manage people matters effectively, consistently and in line with Trust policy and employment legislation.
As a People Services Advisor, you will:
Provide first-line HR advice to managers and staff on Trust policies, terms and conditions, and employment legislation Support the effective management of employee relations casework, including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and dignity at work cases Assist managers with investigations, hearings and appeals, including preparation of documentation and note-taking where required Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a proactive, risk-based approach to people management Apply now to join our team!

Knowledge Requirements Essential

Experience Essential
