About this role
Job summary
We are looking for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team and be part of a service that is evolving, ambitious, and committed to high-quality patient care.
Our MRI service undertakes a diverse and interesting case mix across two sites. Radiographers work closely with other professionals within the MDT, making this an ideal environment for those who enjoy working in a busy, dynamic service and are motivated to develop their clinical practice.
The department is currently installing a brand-new Siemens 1.5T Sola scanner on the hospital site, complementing our existing Siemens Area and Avanto Fit systems and the Siemens 1.5T Sola scanner located at the University site, which is conveniently situated opposite. This provides excellent opportunities to work across sites, broaden your experience, and utilise modern imaging technology.
We actively encourage and support Radiographers to operate as independent practitioners, taking responsibility for their imaging and contributing to decision-making across a broad spectrum of cases. We are committed to professional development, and all candidates must hold, or be willing to undertake, a UK Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) in MRI. Support and guidance will be provided, with the expectation that individuals take ownership of their learning and progression.
This is a department where motivated individuals thrive, those who engage, contribute ideas, and seek out opportunities will find real scope for development and progression.

This is a busy department currently managing workforce pressures. While you will be supported by an experienced and approachable team, this is not a passive learning environment it suits individuals who are proactive, take initiative, and actively engage with opportunities to develop. In return, you will gain valuable experience, autonomy, and professional growth.
Ready to take the next step?If you are a motivated MRI Radiographer looking for a role where your effort directly shapes your progression and impact, we would welcome your application.
