Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Bank Clinical Site Managers to join the Site Management Team at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.
The post holder will play a key role in maintaining patient flow across the acute hospital site and will be required to work autonomously, providing visible and effective clinical leadership to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the hospital over a 24-hour period.
Working predominantly out of hours, the Clinical Site Manager has overall responsibility for the hospital site, including:
Troubleshooting and resolving patient flow pressures Managing staffing and skill-mix issues Responding to and escalating clinical incidents and site-wide risks Supporting clinical teams and maintaining patient safety at all times We are looking for experienced clinicians with strong decision-making skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work calmly and effectively in a pressurised environment. As part of the site management team, you will work closely with senior clinicians and operational leaders to support the delivery of safe and effective care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to be innovative, motivated and an excellent role model for the Health Board values.
The rota involves both day and night shift patterns to suit service requirements.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
