We are now seeking a CIPD qualified, experienced HR practitioner to join our team to work with our medical staff.
We are looking for someone who has a generalist HR background, particularly employee relations, to provide the full range of operational HR service to our medical staff. You will be a key member of the People Partnering team and also work closely with the medical staffing team and our Medical Director. It is essential you are able to demonstrate your experience of advising managers on complex employee relations casework, HR policies and organisational change.

Your base will be Prospect Park Hospital in Reading, and usually you will be expected to be o site there for 2-3 days each week. Additionally, there will betravel to other, less frequent travel to sites in Berkshire as required by the role. The rest of your role will be worked from home.
Main duties of the job
This role will provide opportunities to work more strategically in supporting with workforce planning, change management and transformation, engagement and building leadership capability. You will also work closely with our medial leads and support them with the delivery of their people priorities.
Provide professional HR advice to the full range of employee relations issues Build and maintain credible relationships with Medial Leads and our medical staff, ensuring complex or sensitive information is communicated in a confident way
Act as a point of contact for managers and staff seeking advice on our employment policies, analysing queries to offer solutions
Advise managers on recruitment processes, providing advice on the writing of job descriptions and person specifications

Degree or equivalent experience
A level 5 CIPD qualification, or equivalent experience
Experience working in a generalist HR role with Employee Relations in a multi-skilled professional and unionised environment
Ability to travel to multiple sites with minimal impact on daily productivity

Education/Qualifications/Training Essential
Degree or equivalent level of knowledge and experience in HR or related discipline CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience Evidence of ongoing professional development in HR practice or employment law

Significant generalist HR experience at advisor or business partner level Experience of managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance,performanceand attendance Experience of advising and influencing senior managers
