Berkshire Healthcarehavean exciting opportunityforanAdministrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based atWest Berkshire Community Hospital.

We are looking for candidates with excellent customer serviceandcommunicationskills, aflexibleapproach,andwhoare competent at multi-tasking.Good IT skills areessential,andyoumust beable todemonstratetheability to work on your own as well as working incollaboration with others.

You willbe responsible forthe management of patient referralsand appointmentsutilisingphone and email communicationwhilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for our patients.

Main duties of the job

Act as primary point of contact for MSK patients and visitors attending the department

Take responsibility for digital referral management and patient bookings.

Variety of specific admin tasks including management of phonelines and email, with patient focus at the forefront of our role.

Liaising with other departments and services to support and assist patients as needed, such as interpreting services.

Collecting data and statistics to assist management in guiding the service direction.

Working flexibly in response to the needs of the patients, service and Physiotherapists.

Supporting colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective and compassionate service both virtually and in person.

Education/Qualifications/Training Essential

NVQ3 or equivalent qualification/experience Basic knowledge of administration and/or office procedures Previous knowledge and experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties, including minute-taking Knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages Knowledge and understanding of the post and Trus
