Job summary The Healthcare Assistant will:
Ensure the smooth running of clinics Assist in the care and comfort of patients Assist radiographers during examinations Ensure the clinical room is prepared prior to the start of clinical sessions Use the patient information systems (Soliton/PACS) To monitor and ensure sufficient stock levels are consistently maintained in a designated clinic. Main duties of the job We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant for our prison diagnostic services. Successful applicants will work across the South area so flexibility is required. You may be required to drive a company van and transport X-ray equipment to various prisons. To succeed you must have excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach to delivering first class diagnostic services and patient care. The post holder will work closely with radiographers, supporting them with patients during their clinics. You may be required to stay overnight in a hotel. Expenses for this will be covered.
