We are expanding our medical reception team and looking to recruit the right person, with the necessary skills and experience to deliver a high-quality service to our patients.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure.

You should have:
office administration experience worked with the public in a front facing role and on the telephone excellent communication skills able to work well on your own and as part of a team Ideally have NHS primary care or equivalent experience
Main duties of the job
Greeting in a pleasant and friendly manner all callers at reception.
Answering the telephone quickly and dealing with or redirecting enquirers.
Running the appointment system including making appointments and encouraging patients to use the check in system.
Recording messages and home visit requests in the appropriate book legibly and accurately.
Handing out repeat prescriptions to patients or their representatives.
Handling general enquirers and give out test results or referring to a more experienced Receptionist or Doctor if in doubt.
Preparing repeat prescriptions and repeat sick certificates for Doctors to sign.
Handling queries on front desk.
