We are looking for someone to become a member of our Senior Pharmacy Assistant Team, where you will provide support in delivering a high quality service to all Pharmacy customers.

This position would suit someone with a keen eye for detail and who is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including other healthcare professionals and members of the public. You will be a good team player, enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Main duties of the job

Working in the pharmacy at Sir Robert Peel, Tamworth -

Labelling and Dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and discharge medication. Meeting and greeting customers at the reception hatch and accepting outpatient prescriptions and taking prescription charges. Completing ward top ups and expiry dating. You will be required to complete a GPhC-approved Level 2 Pharmacy course. You will be required to participate in the weekend rota, working approximately 1 in 7 weekends. Bank holidays are also worked on a rota basis. PLEASE NOTE, THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED AT SIR ROBERT PEEL IN TAMWORTH. WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS WILL BE WORKED AT QUEENS HOSPITAL, BURTON.
