- RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
- To provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sales of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.2.
- To receive merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the consumer.3.
- To operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.4.
- To pick, prepare and deliver products as directed by the manager.5.
- Ensuring proper storage of inventory in all areas.6.
- Perform housekeeping duties in all areas of Home & Agro building facilities and yards.7.
- Other duties as assigned.
- REQUIREMENTSApplicant must have a valid Class 5 or higher drivers license (or willing to obtain higher class).
- Have a positive, professional approach and attitude.
- Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends.
- A pleasant and out-going personality.
- A desire and ability to work with the public.
- Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing and kneeling.
- Forklift certification would be an asset.
- Home Centre & Agro product knowledge an asset.
- Considered Safety Sensitive Position; Alcohol & Substance testing required as condition of employment.
- Averages 24 40 hours/week.
