More Than a Job: A Mission We are looking for a passionate Material Planner who thrives on ensuring seamless material availability and on-time product delivery. You will work alongside dynamic, adaptable and forward-thinking teammates to organise and manage supply chain activities, driving project QCD performance. This role calls for ownership, precision, and a continuous improvement mindset to optimize costs, lead times and inventory while keeping our projects on track. Your Role, Your Impact Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects; Participate/lead to Supplier's performances improvement (animation); Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List; Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions; Maintain a routine with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries; Analyse and manage MRP (Material Requirement/Resource Planning) exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand); Maintain delivery dates in ERP system; Track missing parts until stock availability; Ensure non-conformities replacement; Resolve Receiving issues (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, etc.). You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility. What You Bring Degree level qualification; Good knowledge of procurement and supply chain; 1-3 years’ experience in a relevant position; Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP; Fluency in English; German language is an advantage. Good communication, collaboration and analytical skills, initiative and autonomy; Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment; Ability to manage and prioritize own workload; How Success Is Measured On-time material availability supporting production and project delivery goals; Effective collaboration and communication across procurement and operations teams; Reduction in material shortages, improved inventory accuracy, and process efficiency gains.
