Compensation: $35-$55 Depending on Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist senior mechanics with boiler opening cleaning, inspection preparation, and reassembly.
• Perform non-code piping, mechanical, and support tasks under supervision.
• Handle tools, valves, gaskets, and fittings safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn in a field-based setting.
• Ability to work safely with tools and mechanical components.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and follow detailed instructions.
Education & Experience:
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or vocational training is a plus.
Experience Preferred (Not Required)
• Previous experience in mechanical, HVAC, or boiler service work.
• Familiarity with industrial plant environments.
• Current Massachusetts pipefitter is a plus, but not required for this role.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
