Fresh Mark is hiring Food Production Team Members for our ham manufacturing facility in Salem, Ohio. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced food production environment and want to build a long-term career with a growing company.
As a member of our production team, you will help produce, package, inspect, label, and prepare quality ham products while supporting food safety, quality, and production goals. No previous food manufacturing experience is required. We provide paid training for all qualified candidates.

Starting Pay
• 1st Shift: $15.00 per hour
• 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift: $16.50 per hour (includes shift differential)
Employees may have opportunities to increase earnings through skill development, departmental progression, and advancement opportunities.
Available Shifts
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Work Schedule
• Full-Time
• Monday-Saturday
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
Specific shift placement will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Description
As a Food Production Team Member, you will support ham manufacturing and packaging operations by preparing, packaging, labeling, inspecting, and moving products throughout the production process. Team members work together to ensure products meet company standards for food safety, quality, appearance, weight, and customer specifications.

No previous experience is required. Fresh Mark provides on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
Essential Job Duties
• Package, wrap, seal, and prepare ham products for shipment
• Inspect products for quality, appearance, weight, and specification compliance
• Weigh and label products accurately
• Operate or assist with packaging equipment and production machinery
• Monitor product quality throughout the packaging process
• Move materials and finished products throughout the department
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Work efficiently to meet production goals and daily targets
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform general labor duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualified candidates must be able to:
• Work in a refrigerated food manufacturing environment
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Work in a fast-paced production environment
• Work overtime and weekends as needed
• Maintain reliable attendance and dependability
• Follow all company safety, food safety, and quality requirements
