Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: At least 2–3 years of IT support experience, including solid hands-on networking experienceConfidence with TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, port forwarding, VLANs and firewallsPractical technical skills, including crimping cables and setting up equipment from scratchStrong attention to detail when setting up users, devices and systemsUnderstanding of the importance of network securitySelf-starter attitude, with the ability to take ownership, manage small projects and communicate with people across the businessFull UK driving licence Responsibilities: Act as the escalation point for our engineers on networking matters, including router setup, port forwarding, IP addressing and firewall configuration for new sitesTroubleshoot network and connectivity issues and ensure configurations are secureOnboard and offboard users, and set up laptops, desktops and mobile devicesManage Apple devices through MDM; training is providedSupport Microsoft 365 and Azure, including user accounts, email and access rightsProvide general first- and second-line support across the office, including Wi-Fi and printer issuesRun small IT projects, such as phone system rollouts, device refreshes and eSIM migrations, coordinating with staff to complete themSupport our Cyber Essentials and upcoming ISO 27001 work through good practice in access, credentials and documentation Technologies: AzureFirewallSupportMicrosoft 365MobileNATNetworkSecurityTCP/IPOffice 365Cloud More:

We are investing heavily in technology, including new technology and software development functions, and our small, close-knit IT team is an important part of that work. This hands-on, all-rounder role provides networking support to our engineers and day-to-day IT support for around 30–40 head office staff.
