Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: Experience in one or more relevant roles, such as Security Operations Engineer, Cyber Security Analyst, Security Engineer, SOC Analyst (Level 2/3), Threat Detection Engineer, or Incident Response AnalystStrong knowledge of cyber security operations and incident managementExperience with security monitoring and detection technologiesUnderstanding of endpoint, identity, and cloud securityExperience working in Microsoft 365 environmentsKnowledge of vulnerability management and security best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesExperience with technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Splunk, IBM QRadar, Azure Security Services, security automation and SOAR platforms, or EDR solutions is highly desirableQualifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CompTIA Security+, SC-200, SC-300, Azure Security certifications, or GIAC certifications are desirable; equivalent experience will also be considered Responsibilities: Investigate, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidentsCoordinate incident response activities to minimise business impactPerform root-cause analysis and recommend preventative measuresLead or support security investigations and post-incident reviewsEnhance the organisations monitoring and threat detection capabilitiesTune and optimise security tools to improve visibility and reduce false positivesIdentify emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectorsSupport threat hunting and proactive security initiativesConfigure and maintain SIEM, EDR/XDR, and monitoring solutionsDrive security automation and orchestration initiativesDeliver security improvement projects and technical enhancementsSupport the implementation of security controls, policies, and standardsLiaise with managed SOC and security partnersCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teamsProvide technical security guidance to internal stakeholdersHelp embed a security-first culture across the organisation Technologies: AzureCloudIBMIncident ManagementSupportMicrosoft 365SecuritySplunkOffice 365DevOps More:
