Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements: Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.Commercial frontend development experience with Angular, React or Vue.js; Angular is preferred, and candidates with React or Vue.js experience who are willing to learn Angular will also be considered.Good understanding of relational databases and the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries.Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or OpenShift.Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns and object-oriented programming.Experience developing and maintaining complex enterprise applications.Familiarity with Git, testing, debugging and modern software development practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with confidence discussing technical implementations in depth.Comfortable working across frontend and backend development.Desirable: Cloud technologies, DevOps/CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Maven or other build tools, J2EE, JBoss or legacy enterprise systems, large-scale transactional systems, billing platforms, telecommunications software, or AI-assisted development tools.Telecommunications experience is desirable but not essential.The role suits someone with 5+ years of Fullstack Developer experience or a Senior Developer who enjoys hands-on coding and taking ownership of technical solutions. We are an established, internationally recognised software company developing complex, business-critical enterprise software used by major organisations internationally. Our products support high-volume transactions and essential business operations. Youll join an established engineering team in a hands-on individual contributor role, working across backend and frontend on technically challenging, large-scale applications and continuous product improvement. The position is permanent and based in Central London, with a hybrid arrangement of two days in the office and three days working from home. Salary is £60,000–£75,000, depending on experience. Working hours are 09:00–17:30.
