Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Scala development.Extensive hands-on experience with OpenShift and Apache Spark.In-depth understanding of data engineering principles and practices, including ETL/ELT, data transformation, and distributed computing frameworks.Experience developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.Experience with containerisation, CI/CD practices, cloud-native application development, and version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including pair programming and daily stand-ups.Strong teamwork skills and experience sharing codebases and working with continuous integration practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Evidence of the relevant skills and experience must be included in your CV.
