Salary: £37,000 - 40,000 per year
Requirements: Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and Microsoft Defender; Azure, Intune and Defender knowledge is essential from day one.Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Windows desktop and server technologies, and networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.Previous project delivery experience is valuable. We will also consider strong 2nd Line MSP Engineers with practical implementation experience who are ready to take on more project responsibility.MSP experience is advantageous, particularly experience working across different customer environments.Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Purview, security and compliance, or automation is useful.Strong ownership, problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters clearly to customers.A full UK driving licence and your own car are essential. Responsibilities: Scope and deliver customer projects, with around 90% of the role focused on project work.Implement Microsoft 365 migrations and new tenant setups.Migrate file servers to SharePoint Online or Azure Files.Move infrastructure and services into Azure.Deliver Intune deployments and security policy rollouts.Carry out technical onboarding for new customers.Work with customers and colleagues to understand requirements, implement solutions and troubleshoot issues.Maintain clear technical documentation.Resolve issues arising from projects and handle occasional Service Desk escalations unrelated to project work, expected to take around one to two days per month. We are an established IT managed services provider based in Herne Bay, Kent, recruiting an IT Projects & Infrastructure Engineer. The role is office-based, with core hours of 9am–5.30pm and a salary of £37,000–£40,000. Customer site visits are occasional, averaging around once a month or less. There is no on-call rota, as a separate team handles on-call support; occasional work outside normal hours may be required and is paid as overtime. We offer on-the-job and vendor-specific training, reimbursement of Microsoft exam costs, and, depending on the certification, funded online courses or onsite training and some study time during working hours. Mileage and other business travel costs, including trains and parking, are reimbursed.
