About this role
As Technology Application Expert in our FLEX product line, you connect customer applications with product development and turn complex technical requirements into valuable product features. Working closely with Product Management, Application Engineering, and R&D, you help bring new solutions from concept to successful application in a highly innovative semiconductor environment.
Your Responsibilities
Analyze customer use cases and translate application requirements into technically feasible product featuresCollaborate with Product Management and R&D on feature definitions, priorities, and technical implementationDrive the development, validation, and rollout of application-related featuresPrepare, validate, and support technical demonstrations for customersEvaluate new features in realistic application scenarios and ensure their technical robustnessServe as a key interface between customers, on-site teams, Product Management, and EngineeringSupport complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product performance optimizationBring structured customer and application insights into product roadmap and continuous improvement activities Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical fieldAt least three years of relevant technical experience, ideally in the semiconductor industryStrong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes; experience with electron-beam, lithography, metrology, inspection, or optical systems is an advantageExperience working with R&D teams and translating customer needs into engineering requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and data-driven approachExperience in technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, or performance optimizationExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiencesCustomer-focused, collaborative, and proactive mindset; international experience is an advantage What you can look forward to:

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 60.000 € (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
