The Role
Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.
What you'll do
Manage corporate action events, including reconciliations and monitoring trading activity throughout the event lifecycle.Ensure corporate actions are processed accurately and on time, managing exceptions and resolving discrepancies.Identify, assess and mitigate financial, regulatory, market and operational risks affecting the firm and its clients.Investigate issues, exercise sound judgement and escalate risks or complex matters where appropriate.Work closely with internal stakeholders and impacted business areas to support effective service delivery.Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, reduce risk and enhance operational efficiency.
What you bring
Experience in operations analysis, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.Experience in reconciliations, reporting and data management, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Understanding of operational risk and compliance, including identifying issues and escalating concerns appropriately.Ability to follow established processes, policies and procedures while maintaining effective controls.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues.Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, collaborate with stakeholders and take ownership of deliverables.
