A recruitment agency is looking for a capable and meticulous Accountant to join their Finance team. This is an exciting role for someone with prior experience in a recruitment business.
What you'll do:
Posting and reconciling: sales and purchase ledgers, bank recs and control accountsSupporting the preparation and checking of both payroll runsSupporting the Finance Manager with drawdowns and reconciliationSupporting month-end: journals, accruals, prepayments and the management accounts What you'll need:
2+ years experience in a recruitment or freelance contract businessStrong attention to detail and accuracyA good grasp of recruitment cycle (timesheets, billing, contractor payroll, margins)Good working knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets and XeroAccurate and organised under pressure
