We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join a well-established team covering Peterborough and the surrounding areas on a self-employed subcontract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term, ongoing work with a company-supplied van and consistent workload.
The Role
You'll be carrying out a variety of carpentry and joinery works within domestic residential properties, including:
Responsive repairs and maintenanceProperty refurbishment worksKitchen and bathroom fittingDoor installations and repairsSecond-fix carpentryGeneral joinery and finishing worksWorking within occupied and vacant (void) properties Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery, City & Guilds qualification, or time-served carpenter/joinerPrevious carpentry and joinery experienceFull UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and deliver work to a high standard Desirable Experience
Social housing maintenanceLocal authority or housing association contractsResponsive repairsPlanned maintenance programmesWorking within occupied domestic propertiesVoid property refurbishments and reinstatement works What's on Offer?
