Group Finance Controller Chester | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office) | Temp to Perm | £70,000 - £75,000 Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a successful and growing Chester-based business in the appointment of a Group Finance Controller on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a dynamic organisation at a key stage of its growth journey. Working closely with the Group Finance Director, you'll take ownership of the finance function, lead a capable team and play a key role in improving controls, reporting and commercial decision-making across the group.
The Role As Group Finance Controller, you will:
Lead and develop the finance team across the businessTake ownership of monthly management accounts and group reportingEnsure robust financial controls, compliance and governanceManage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting processesPartner with operational stakeholders across the organisationDrive improvements to financial systems, processes and reportingSupport strategic projects and business growth initiativesAct as a key deputy to the Group Finance Director About You We're looking for:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountantPrevious experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roleStrong technical accounting and financial reporting expertiseProven experience managing and developing finance teamsCommercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skillsAvailable at short notice or immediately available What's on Offer?
