This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to develop their finance skills in a collaborative environment. Whether you're already gaining experience in accounts or are looking to further your professional development, you'll be supported by an experienced team and given exposure to a broad range of finance responsibilities.
The Opportunity
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting the day to day finance function, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately, and key processes are completed efficiently. You'll gain exposure to multiple areas of finance and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge while contributing to the success of the wider team.
Key Responsibilities Complete multi currency bank reconciliations accurately and on timeSupport month end processes, including prepayments, accruals, expenses, and fixed asset reconciliationsAssist with cash posting and generate sales invoices when requiredProcess invoices, expenses, and payments for the Group PLC entityMaintain accurate financial records across all ledgersSupport credit control activities and professionally handle supplier queriesAssist with finance reporting, administrative tasks, and ad hoc projects About You
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised, detail oriented, and confident working with financial information. You'll enjoy working as part of a team while taking ownership of your own responsibilities. You'll ideally have: Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data manipulationGood numeracy skills and confidence working with financial dataThe ability to learn new systems and digital tools quicklyExcellent communication skills and confidence managing queriesA proactive approach with a willingness to learn and developA flexible, team-focused attitude, particularly around month-end deadlines Desirable A finance-related degree or equivalent qualificationStudying towards a professional finance qualification What's in It for You?
