Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an award-winning, planning-led practice with an excellent reputation, which is now seeking a Town Planner to join its team in Truro.
The practice combines town planners, architects, designers and landscape architects, taking a joined-up, collaborative approach to development projects from the first concept through to completion.
You will join a professional and supportive team working on a wide mix of schemes, including residential developments, barn conversions, renewable energy projects, commercial developments and tourism proposals. The work is varied, with plenty of opportunity to get involved in interesting and challenging planning projects.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious, proactive and client-focused Town Planner with relevant experience in a planning-related role.
Ideally, you will have:
A degree in Planning or an equivalent planning qualificationAppropriate experience within the planning sectorA track record of handling a range of planning applications and development proposalsStrong communication skills and confidence dealing with clientsA positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitudeRTPI membership, which is desirable but not essential The practice will also support candidates who are currently working towards RTPI chartership.
