Your new company
An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its HR team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting a diverse operational workforce across multiple sites, providing expert HR guidance and helping managers navigate a wide range of employee relations matters. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering a proactive, commercially focused HR service whilst supporting wider people initiatives and business objectives.
Your new role
Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers across multiple business areas.Manage a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management and capability matters.Support organisational change projects including restructures, consultations and redundancies.Assist with the delivery of recruitment and onboarding activities.Support TUPE projects, including consultation processes and employee transfers.Provide guidance on family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, adoption and flexible working.Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice.Maintain accurate employee records and support HR reporting and people analytics.Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support managers in developing effective people management practices.Contribute to wider HR and people projects aligned to the organisation's people strategy.
What you'll need to succeed You'll be an experienced HR professional with a strong employee relations background and the confidence to advise managers across a broad range of people matters.The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Previous experience in an HR Advisor position.Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.Experience managing complex employee relations cases independently.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.A proactive and commercially focused approach.CIPD qualification, membership or willingness to work towards this.Previous TUPE experience would be advantageous.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel on occasion.
