Housing Works Coordinator
Location: Beeston, NottinghamContract: Temporary (6 months)Hours: Full-timeRate: £21.84 ph Umbrella Reed is recruiting on behalf of a prominent housing association for the position of Housing Works / Working Heights Coordinator. This role is based in our Midlands office in Beeston for an initial 6-month temporary contract. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, enabling them to quickly adapt with the support of the London teams.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
Provide general administrative support to the Supervisor/Contract Manager, focusing on roofing and scaffolding projects.Maintain exceptionally high standards of records for ongoing work using our internal application system, MPS.Handle the creation and tracking of purchase orders, ensuring accurate cost management for jobs.Communicate effectively with residents through telephone, email, and text, managing their repair journey from start to finish.Coordinate with the planning team to update job statuses in DRS (booking system) and Northgate (housing system).Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that work progresses within the required timescales. What We're Looking For:
Ideally, previous experience within housing, repairs, maintenance, roofing, scaffolding or a trades-related environment.Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of work.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.Experience using housing, repairs or scheduling systems would be advantageous.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
