About this role
We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Client in their established Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit control professional to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, build strong relationships and play a key role in maintaining cash flow within a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing: Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively collecting outstanding paymentsBuilding strong relationships with customers and resolving account queries and disputesReconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies and managing cash allocationIssuing invoices, statements, payment reminders and other account documentationMonitoring aged debt reports and following up on overdue accountsConducting regular reviews of outstanding debt and providing updates on collection performanceWorking closely with internal departments to resolve queries and improve collection processesSupporting the achievement of cash collection targets and credit control KPIs What We’re Looking For: At least one year’s recent experience in a Credit Control roleExperience working in a fast-paced finance environmentStrong account reconciliation, cash allocation and query resolution skillsExcellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilitiesA proactive and self-motivated approachConfidence managing your own workload and handling challenging conversationsGood organisational skills and strong attention to detail Benefits on Offer: £27,000 – £29,000 salary, depending on experienceAnnual bonusTravel and wellness discountsComprehensive employee benefits packageSupportive and collaborative working environment
