Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our Client to a Finance Controller. A long established Supply and Manufacturing Group of Client is looking to appoint an FC who will happily take a hands on approach to the day to day running of the Finance team. But when the time is right also has the vision and experience to take a step back and leave the day to day function to the Finance team whilst they focus on Planning / Budgets / Growth and Expansion.
The role of the Finance Controller is that of Influencer and ‘doer’ all in one go!
WHAT CAN YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE ROLE OF FINANCE CONTROLLER

WHAT YOU WILL BRING AS THE FINANCE CONTROLLER
Your first task will be to get to know your team and the systems and working practices. You will then look to implement improvements to existing systems. You will also work closely with external partners including Accountants and Finance Institutions.
You will be able to work across the business with Finance and Non Finance Business Partners to engage across how Finance feeds into their own areas.
You will have a passion for growth and development and have experienced the preparation of detailed Budgets and Forecasts.
Strong Excel skills will be essential to the role of Finance Controller.
Finally you will have the hands on skills to be able to prepare and deliver detailed Management Accounts including Month End Close and have recent experience of the preparation of Year End Accounts including submissions to HMRC.
