We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Client in their established and growing Accountancy Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, work closely with senior management and benefit from a genuine long-term progression opportunity.
What You’ll Be Doing: Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contactPreparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole tradersPreparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returnsPreparing and reviewing personal tax returnsProviding clients with proactive advice and identifying opportunities to add valueAssisting with audit assignments where requiredReviewing the work of junior and semi-senior members of the teamSupporting senior management with advisory work and special projectsAttending client meetings and developing strong, long-term relationshipsContributing to the continued growth and development of the practice What We’re Looking For: ACA or ACCA qualifiedStrong post-qualification experience within an accountancy practiceStrong technical knowledge across accounts, corporation tax and personal taxExperience reviewing the work of junior members of staffExcellent communication and client management skillsCommercially minded with a proactive approachConfident working independently while also contributing to a wider teamExperience using accountancy practice software Benefits on Offer: £45,000 – £55,000 salary, depending on experienceGenuine long-term progression opportunitiesHybrid working, with up to 2 days working from homeVaried and interesting client portfolioSupportive and professional working environmentOpportunity to take on increased responsibility as the practice continues to grow37.5-hour working week
