Job Title: Reconciliations Strategy Lead (Contract) Location: London, UK Contract Length: 3 Months (with strong potential for extension) Job Type: Contract
We are looking for a highly competent Reconciliations Strategy Lead to join the foundational team responsible for completely rebuilding the front-to-back (F2B) reconciliations function for a major Tier-1 Global Bank.
This is not a business-as-usual (BAU) processing role. This is a strategic, architectural position where you will define the blueprint for a massively scaled banking function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Strategy: Lead key elements of the transformation programme, setting the strategic direction for the new reconciliations function.Target Operating Model (TOM): Design and scale the foundational target operating model for the front-to-back process.Business & Technology Architecture: Define the target architecture and technology strategy required to modernize complex banking systems.Data Flows: Map and optimize high-volume data flows across middle and back-office operations. What We Are Looking For:
Proven Strategic Experience: A strong background as a Manager, Business Architect, or Strategy Lead (ideal backgrounds include Big 4 consulting or internal banking transformation teams).Financial Services Expertise: Deep understanding of Capital Markets, Banking operations, and front-to-back trade lifecycles.Reconciliations Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of reconciliations systems, data architecture, and process optimization (Change/Transformation experience, rather than daily processing).Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders across both the consultancy and the end-client bank.
