Sanctions Advisor | Insurance / Broking Remote with occasional London travel | 12-Month Maternity Cover | Inside IR35 We're supporting a leading Global Insurance Client in the search for an experienced Sanctions Advisor with Russia Sanctions Advice and Insurance / Broking experience to join their Financial Crime team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sanctions specialist who can confidently provide practical, risk-based advice across a complex international business, managing high-risk referrals, payment screening escalations, sanctions investigations, and regulatory change activities.
What you'll be doing: Leading complex sanctions and export controls referrals across global operationsProviding expert advice on UK, EU, UN and US, and Russia sanctions regulationsReviewing ownership & control, payment screening, claims, licensing and due diligence mattersSupporting sanctions investigations, policy development, training and assurance activitiesPartnering with Legal, Compliance, Operations and Business stakeholders globallyContributing to strategic sanctions projects, controls enhancement and regulatory change initiatives Experience Required: Proven sanctions compliance, financial crime, legal, regulatory or risk experienceStrong knowledge of UK, EU, UN and US, and Russia sanctions regimesExperience handling complex sanctions cases and stakeholder engagementAbility to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice in a highly regulated environmentInsurance or financial services experience Export controls knowledge beneficial If you are interested, Apply now to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
