Cloud Billing Team Leader Maidenhead | £45,000 - £50,000 | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) | Permanent
A growing and highly successful technology business is looking to appoint a Cloud Billing Team Leader to join its Finance Operations function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced billing or finance professional with leadership experience to take ownership of a high-performing team within a fast-paced and evolving cloud services environment.
The Role Reporting into the Billing Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of cloud billing services. You'll manage workloads, support team development, resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvements across billing processes.
Working closely with teams across Finance, Technology, Operations and Customer Services, you'll play a key role in ensuring billing accuracy, service quality and process efficiency as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day delivery of cloud billing operations and recurring billing cyclesManage team workloads and priorities to ensure accurate and timely billing outcomesCoach, mentor and develop team members, supporting both performance and career growthAct as an escalation point for complex billing queries and operational issuesMonitor KPIs, service levels and team performanceSupport governance, controls, reconciliations and audit requirementsCollaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to improve processesIdentify and implement opportunities for automation and operational improvementPromote a positive, customer-focused and high-performing team culture Skills & Experience Required Experience within a billing, finance, technology, telecoms, cloud or managed services environmentPrevious experience leading, supervising or coordinating operational teamsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience managing high-volume processes and competing prioritiesUnderstanding of operational controls, governance and service managementStrong Excel and data analysis skillsProactive approach with excellent problem-solving capabilitiesPassion for continuous improvement Desirable Experience Cloud, subscription or usage-based billing experienceKnowledge of Microsoft, AWS or Adobe billing environmentsExperience using Oracle NetSuiteExposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologiesExperience supporting business change or transformation programmes What's on Offer Salary of £45,000 - £50,000Hybrid working model (3 days office / 2 days remote)Flexible working hoursSupportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunity to join a growing technology-focused business with excellent development prospects If you're an experienced billing professional with leadership experience and a passion for process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
