The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects – from site procurement through to final account. You’ll be working on a variety of residential schemes and will be fully involved in all aspects of cost planning and control.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing and issuing trade specifications and tender packagesTender analysis and subcontractor appointmentManaging subcontractor packages and attending pre-start meetingsEnsuring health & safety compliance is in place pre-constructionBudget management and cost reportingSite measurements, valuations, and managing final accountsLiaising with internal and external teams to drive commercial success What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the housebuilding/residential development sectorStrong commercial acumen and a proactive, hands-on approachAbility to run your own projects independentlyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsFull UK driving licence (regular site travel required) What’s on Offer: Competitive salary (DOE) + packageCompany benefitsSupportive and ambitious working environmentReal opportunities for career progression Location: Office-based in Exeter with regular travel to sites and 1 day working from home!
