Our client is an international bank based in the City, seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join their growing e team. This role will involve evaluating credit proposals, with a focus on Large corporates and commodity finance, while ensuring that all credit decisions adhere to the bank’s policies and risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide detailed credit evaluation reports, analyzing financial and non-financial risks, and making recommendations to mitigate key risks.Review and challenge proposals from the Front Office, presenting independent credit opinions to the Credit Committee.Monitor borrower performance, industry trends, and credit exposures, ensuring all covenants are adhered to throughout the loan lifecycle.Support senior management with timely risk analysis and suggest appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Conduct annual reviews of existing customers and proactive monitoring for early warning signals. Candidate Requirements:
Extensive experience in commodity finance or Large Corporates credit review.Strong financial analysis, projection, and stress-testing skills.Ability to assess and mitigate risks across various industries and sectors.Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a proactive and independent mindset.
