Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Technician or Engineer with a manufacturing background, looking for a varied, hands-on role within an international manufacturer, offering premium overtime rates and a weekly rotating shift pattern?
On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer of innovative transfer products used by some of the world's most recognisable brands. You will play a key role in keeping production machinery running efficiently, tackling mechanical breakdowns and supporting improvements across the Livingston manufacturing site.
The company manufactures specialist cold and hot transfer products for the packaging and branding industries. With an established international presence, the business combines advanced manufacturing technology with a focus on quality, sustainability and innovation.
In this role, you will carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance on production equipment. You will diagnose faults, repair and replace components, and work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime. You will also support machinery installations, commissioning and continuous improvement projects.
This role would suit a mechanically qualified Maintenance Technician or Engineer with experience maintaining industrial machinery, who enjoys practical problem solving within a manufacturing environment.
The Role:
Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance.Diagnose breakdowns and repair or replace mechanical components.Support machinery installations, commissioning and process improvements.Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safe working procedures.All overtime paid at 1.75x.
Weekly Rotating Shifts:
Early: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm.Late: Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm.Nights: Monday-Thursday, 9pm-7am.One week on each shift before rotating.
The Person:
Mechanical Maintenance Technician or Engineer with manufacturing or industrial experience.Relevant mechanical engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
