New Vacancy: Senior Reinsurance Technician - 12M FTC Lloyd's Insurer City of London
I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Senior Reinsurance Technician to join the business on a 12M FTC basis.
This role will be supporting the administration and technical management of reinsurance business. The role will involve overseeing the end-to-end processing of reinsurance contracts, premium and claims processing & more.
My client is looking for an experienced Reinsurance Technician, with strong experience within a similar role in a Lloyd's environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end processing and administration of reinsurance contracts, including contract documentation, endorsements and renewals.Oversee premium calculations, bordereaux processing, cash allocation and claims movements, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement.Review and interpret reinsurance contract terms and conditions, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with internal procedures.Liaise with brokers, cedants, reinsurers and internal underwriting, claims and finance teams to resolve technical queries.Monitor outstanding premiums, claims and technical account discrepancies, ensuring effective follow-up and resolution.Support reconciliations, reporting, audit requirements and continuous improvement of reinsurance processes.Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, helping maintain high standards of accuracy and service delivery.
