You will be tasked with taking ownership of a multi-million pound spend to ensure that the price, quality, and performance of products are delivered.
Key Duties:
Develop a robust Far Eastern portfolio of suppliersManage the procurement of often complex machined componentsLead Supplier negotiationsChallenge total cost and identify opportunities to improve margins without risking quality
Key Skills and experience:
Senior Procurement experience within a mechanical engineering environmentMust have a proven track record of sourcing in China, Europe and IndiaHave good technical knowledge and an understanding of how components are made
