Interim Head of Finance ?? South East England | Hybrid Working ?? £75,000-£80,000 Pro Rata | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
We're seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to support a large, complex organisation through a period of change and transformation.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on strengthening financial controls, improving processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting the finance function through a significant transformation programme. You'll lead a talented controls team, provide operational and strategic guidance, and ensure robust governance and financial management throughout the transition period.
Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the financial controls teamReview and enhance finance processes, controls and reportingIdentify and deliver operational efficiencies and improvementsSupport organisational transformation and change initiativesWork closely with senior stakeholders to drive best practice and continuous improvementEnsure strong governance, compliance and financial control frameworks About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)Proven experience in senior finance leadership rolesStrong financial controls, governance and process improvement expertiseDemonstrable success delivering change and transformation initiativesAbility to influence stakeholders and lead teams through periods of changeHigher education or large, complex organisation experience would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader who enjoys improving functions, delivering tangible change, and making an immediate impact.
