Accounts Assistant Barnsley Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Elevation Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an established business based in Barnsley.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and reconciliations. It would suit someone with experience in transactional finance who enjoys working across different areas of accounts and is looking to develop their skills further.
There will also be the opportunity to become more involved in month-end procedures and management accounts preparation as you settle into the role, making this a good opportunity for someone looking to broaden their finance experience.
Key responsibilities:
Processing purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficientlyRaising sales ledger invoicesChasing outstanding payments by telephone, email and letterBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliersCompleting bank reconciliationsSupporting month-end procedures and wider finance activities About you:
Previous experience in an accounts or transactional finance roleExperience in purchase ledger, sales ledger or credit controlGood attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident communicating with customers and suppliersA proactive approach with the ability to manage a varied workloadKeen to develop your experience and take on additional responsibilities over time The opportunity:
