Role Overview
As an Assembly & Test Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out in-house assembly and testing in accordance with various customer specifications, company procedures and quality standards.
You will work as part of the engineering team, ensuring work is completed accurately, safely and within allocated timescales.
Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings and specificationsAssemble components in line with customer and company specifications and proceduresCarry out pressure testing in line with specified requirementsMaintain and promote Health & Safety proceduresComplete work within scheduled allocated hoursMaintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the company's 5S programme Requirements:
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specificationsCrane and slinging experience – essentialForklift experience – requiredPressure testing experience – desirablePrevious experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous Benefits
