Groundworker
Job Type: TemporaryLocation: Borough of BuryWorking Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (37hrs per week)Rate: £20 per hour We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Groundworker to join our team on a temporary basis. The role involves carrying out flagging, paving, pathways, and associated external groundworks across council-owned properties and housing stock throughout the Borough of Bury.
Day-to-day of the role:
Carry out repairs and renewals to flags, paving, paths, steps, other external surfaces, and drainage systems.Undertake associated groundwork and minor masonry repairs.Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety requirements.Provide excellent customer service when working in occupied social housing properties.Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in flagging and groundwork repairs.Experience working within social housing or a similar domestic repairs environment.Full, clean UK driving licence.Own hand tools and equipment required for the role.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
