We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Abbey Wood on a full-time basis.
This role involves working with pupils who display challenging behaviour, helping them engage with learning, regulate emotions, and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.
The Role:
Supporting students with behavioural and emotional needsManaging challenging behaviour using positive strategiesBuilding strong relationships with pupils and staffAssisting teachers with classroom activitiesActing as a positive role model for young people Ideal Candidates:
Previous experience working with children or young peopleBehaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Support Worker, Sports Coach, or similar backgroundStrong behaviour management skillsResilient, patient, and confident personalityExperience within schools, alternative provisions, or youth settings desirable We Welcome Applications From:
