Location: Rayleigh, Essex Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Office Based
An established and growing accountancy practice in Rayleigh is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous practice experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a varied role, working closely with a broad portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companiesProducing management accountsCompleting bookkeeping duties and VAT returnsAssisting with corporation tax computationsLiaising directly with clients and responding to queriesMaintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulationsSupporting senior members of the team with ad hoc assignments About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practiceExperience preparing accounts for a range of clientsKnowledge of bookkeeping and VAT returnsExcellent communication and organisational skillsProficiency with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooksA proactive and professional approach to client service What's on Offer
