FP&A Analyst - Commercial Finance Business Partner | Northwich | Hybrid working | Up to £50,000 + bonus

Robert Half is working exclusively with an established technology services business at an important stage of its development, offering the opportunity to help shape its FP&A function and bring greater commercial insight into the business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll have visibility across the operation, with real scope to influence pricing, profitability, business efficiency and future growth. Rather than simply reporting on what has happened, you'll help the business understand what it means, where opportunities exist and what needs to change to improve performance.

The Opportunity
Influence commercial decisions: Work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenge to support better business decisions.
Drive profitability: Get under the skin of the business, understanding margins, pricing and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Help shape FP&A: Play an active role in developing a more forward-looking finance function, strengthening financial modelling, forecasting and commercial analysis.
Gain wider business exposure: Build relationships across Sales, Operations and Service Delivery, influencing decisions and developing a broader understanding of business performance.
Make a tangible difference: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, assess commercial proposals and help drive sustainable profitability.
Take ownership: Join a relatively flat structure where you'll have the autonomy to bring ideas forward, challenge existing approaches and see the impact of your recommendations.
What We're Looking For
This opportunity would suit a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys getting under the skin of a business and influencing outcomes, rather than simply reporting on historical performance.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, finance business partnering or management accounting.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including advanced Excel.
The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions and translate financial information into practical commercial recommendations.
A proactive, curious approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership in a changing business environment.
Full qualification isn't essential. The business is open to part-qualified candidates and those with relevant experience who can demonstrate the right commercial mindset.
Experience in technology, services or recurring revenue businesses would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
The Package
Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience.
Annual bonus.
Hybrid working, with three days a week in the Northwich office (Tuesday to Thursday).
